I was born and grew up in North Wales in Great Britain and studied at the University of Bristol where I graduated in languages (Italian, French, German). Married to an Italian, I’ve been living in Italy for over 35 years and am now living in a small village overlooking Lake Maggiore, near the Swiss border, with my husband and animals. I taught English for several years in a number of schools and also in a therapeutic community for ex-drug addicts and am now a professional translator.

My spiritual journey began over 20 years ago when, through a lengthy illness which lasted sixteen years, I started to look for the answers to my infinite questions. My search brought me into contact with the Angelic world and God. Inspired by Neil Donald Walsch's book "Conversations with God", I started receiving beautiful written messages from God which literally became my Diary with God and with this came my desire to help others have their own connection with God and therefore become completely independent.

In 2007 I came across Candace's and DavidPaul's book "The Voice for Love" and their beautiful 5-step process for hearing God's Voice within. Having followed their 30-day Audio Course and their 10-Week Homestudy program, I asked DavidPaul and Candace in April 2007 if I could use their material to bring this process for hearing God's Voice into Italy. They kindly agreed and I began holding workshops in Italy to help others hear God's Voice through the 5-step process.

In March 2008 I signed up for the Voice for Love Teachers' Program which has given me the opportunity to deepen my relationship with God and Love, allowing me to enrich my teaching and I have also learnt how to share God’s Voice with others through Spiritual Counseling sessions. This for me is my true purpose in life.

About 100 people have now done the workshop for the 5-step process in Italy and this number is continuing to grow. As an incentive to keep in contact with each other and join in our desire to remember the truth of who we are, we have founded the "Voice for Love Network in Italy" and meet on a two-monthly basis to share, practise and experience our Oneness together.

Karen Stemmler teaches elementary school and is a certified Voice for Love teacher, facilitator, and minister. She teaches workshops on hearing God's Voice to those who desire to hear this divine Presence in their lives. Recognizing, and acknowledging Divine Presence in all things is a tremendous benefit of listening to God's Voice. I have been on my spiritual journey since 1983 when my cleaning lady introduced me to the wonderful books of Ruth Montgomery and Jane Roberts. From that point on, the doors opened, the lights went on and life expanded at an awesome speed. I would not say that the expansion was always easy and comfortable, but it did move me forward in its own magical way.

I chose to leave my marriage to my children’s father in order to be free to pursue my spiritual journey. Difficult as it was, it was the only right choice for me at the time. I have never looked back. I have studied under great Masters. I have meditated in most of the sacred tombs and monuments of Egypt including a cosmic, mind expanding experience in the King’s Chamber of the Great Pyramid. I have had the delight of studying with many amazingly gifted and enlightened teachers. I am an ordained minister, Reiki Master and Certified Spiritual Healer, which only means that I step aside to let God’s Infinite Love flow through me to do whatever is in his Plan. In my 3rd dimensional world I earn my living as a psychotherapist who works from her heart and is always assisting each person she meets to connect with their true essence, which is Love.

The Voice for Love Teachers’ Training Program is far and beyond the very best thing I have ever done for myself in terms of self-discovery and awakening. I look forward to continuing my relationship with the school by offering my services to new students and sharing with delight what I have learned. I feel so connected to DavidPaul and Candace that they feel like my loving parents when I am old enough to be their parent. This last year has been so powerful for me, I can’t wait to be part of the journey the next class experiences. PROFESSION: Retired Elementary School Teacher
AVOCATION: Remembering the truth of who I am and integrating it into my life is my life’s purpose. Having completed the Teacher’s Certification Program taught by DavidPaul and Candace Doyle, I feel divinely guided to teach others how to hear God’s voice within themselves. Serving in this way will assist me in manifesting my life’s plan to teach others this divine truth, especially children before they forget who they are due to societal values. In this way we will create a world that is filled with loving, kind, compassionate, happy, accepting, tolerant and especially peaceful people.

I now know the 5 step process to Hearing God’s Voice. I can journal the messages I receive. As well, I can express them out loud or listen to the advice I’m being given within me. Also I am practicing being aware of all the other ways I can access these answers to my requests and questions. This I can do whenever and wherever I am, even while walking or biking in the park. This process restores me to that place of peace, love, joy, compassion, wholeness and to the truth of who I am. By being in this place of love and deeply connected with the essence of who I am, this oneness with God, I can be a catalyst for healing to take place in the world. Now I truly believe and feel within me that I am being guided always on this path to integrate into my life this truth of who I am. You, too, can receive all of these benefits as you learn, study, practice and integrate this Voice for Love into your life.

Having joined the Voice for Love Faculty, I am assisting and mentoring some of the new students who are taking this same journey from which I have gained so much.. Being on this faculty is continuing to keep me in touch with all that these two dedicated people, Candace and David Paul Doyle are delivering to heal the world. As well, this will guide me to open up to all the possibilities for me to fulfill my Spiritual life’s purpose as well as my present life plan which I came into this lifetime to manifest. I retired from teaching 15 years ago and I have been experiencing many varied ways of learning and growing spiritually. I was brought up in the United Church of Canada Religion where I believe I learned the basis of my beliefs. For a two week period, for 3 consecutive summers in the early seventies I chose to take courses at The National Training Laboratories Courses in Bethel, Maine.

From a teacher training program that was set up, I was able to use information in my own teaching from taking a practicum during my Masters Degree in Education from The Life Sound Foundation of London, Ontario. This is a Human Dynamics Group which was set up in the late eighties by Sandra Seagal and David Horn to share tools and techniques for working with the various learning styles of differently centered children such as mental, emotional objective, emotional subjective and physical.

In the late eighties and early nineties, I became involved in courses at the Kripalu Yoga Center in Lennox, Mass. These courses varied from “Joy of Living” to the “Quest for the Limitless You” with practicing yoga throughout the day.

After I retired in 1994, I took two courses at the Toronto Landmark Educational Forum which is held in centers all over the world. The process is to take 100% responsibility for altering the context of who one is Being in order to change ones life. After that, I studied from 1995-1999 to becoming a Reiki Master.

For the past 6 years, I have been studying Jean K. Foster’s God-mind Connection Series of 8 books with a group of people over the internet. This was the beginning of my true understanding of how all of us are this oneness and how we are to connect to the Source through our guides to manifest the God Truths in this world

Learning to hear God’s Voice has given me many shifts in perception. For example, I no longer am sad when there are difficulties with significant others because I have learned through these situations what love truly is and that is allowing others to be who they are with total acceptance and be at peace with it.

I am the founding minister of Agape Interfaith Ministries, serving several churches with sermons, workshops, and spiritual education. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, am certified in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), am a Religious Science Practitioner (combining psychotherapeutic counseling, spiritual coaching, and healing prayer), and facilitate "A Course in Miracles" study groups in Philadelphia, PA, and Moorestown, NJ.
