Dear Friends,

What a wonderful summer it's been! Yesterday we went river rafting, and today is Candace's birthday! We'll be celebrating tonight.

In this month's newsletter I have a lot of wonderful articles, love and water blessing videos, and even a new song to share with you! The very first video below is a water blessing video that Dr. Masaru Emoto's (author of the "Messages from Water" book series) team asked me to record as part of his "Love and Thanks to the Water" Blessing Ceremony taking place this Sunday, July 25. I encourage you to click the video below and follow along with me.

Many blessings to you, and the water, and I hope you enjoy this month's Voice for Love newsletter.

Sincerely,

DavidPaul Doyle

Click the video below to watch it now! It's important to include yourself in this given all that's happening. Thank you for choosing to be part of the solution!

P.S. One of the luminaries above, Scott Blum, is also a musician. He recently created a beautiful song that I'd ike to share with you called "Fragile Day." He is launching "Fragile Day" in conjunction with this blessing ceremony because 100% of the proceeds benefit charities doing important work to help the habitat affected by the Gulf Coast oil tragedy. You can watch the video and download the song by clicking the link below. Please do check it out:

Giving and Receiving Blessings Sermon
photoRev. Jill Sabin Carel is one of our certified Voice for Love Teachers. She recently delivered this sermon at an Episcopal church near her home. I wanted to share with you! Blessings to you... DavidPaul

"Good morning. It is a blessing to be here with you today. My sermon topic is "Giving and Receiving Blessings."

I prayed for inspiration on the subject of blessings. I was so successful in my prayer, and God was so generous with me, that I had pages and pages of notes about blessings. It was hard to pick and choose what to share with you today. There are so many facets to what we consider to be blessings – like joy, healing, grace, and gratitude.

In the movie "White Christmas" Bing Crosby sings "When I'm worried and I can't sleep, I count my blessings instead of sheep."

We know on some level that we have many blessings, and that when we become aware of them, or count them, the natural response is to feel gratitude, a feeling that dispels our worries. But are our blessings the good countable "things" in our lives – things we are grateful for? That may be one aspect of blessings, but there is more to it.

In David Spangler's book "Blessing: The Art and the Practice," he describes blessing as an invocation of the presence and power of the sacred. He encourages all of us, both clergy and layman, to experience the rewards of being a conduit for God's blessings. We can bless through a kind word, a prayer, a ritual, a gesture, an embrace, or a gift – but the blessing is the sacred space that is experienced rather than the outward visible sign that helped convey the blessing...

Beautiful Holy Spirit Sermon
photoIn our newsletter last month, I included a beautiful Holy Spirit sermon from Rev. Karen Stemmler, another one of our other Certified Voice for Love Teachers and Spiritual Counselors. Unfortunately, there was an extra space in the link to get to the sermon on our blog, so most people were unable to read it. As a result, I am including. Rev. Stemmler' beautiful sermon one more time for you to enjoy.

"Hello - Let us start today's sermon time with a prayer. "Gracious God - bless now the words of my lips and the meditations of our hearts. Breath your Spirit into us and grant that we may hear, and in hearing be led in the way you want us to go. Amen.

This Sunday is Holy Trinity Sunday - the first Sunday after Pentecost. It's a time of year that Popes and Bishops, Councils and Preachers have, for many years thought it good and wise to remind the millions of seekers - the millions of faithful - that God can be understood in three ways:

As the Father - the Creator, our Eternal nature of Love, indivisible Oneness as the Son - God's creation, Love's extension and as the Holy Spirit - Love's communication, Comforter, bridge to God.

Martin Luther King pointed out that the word 'trinity' can not be found in the bible, but these three aspects of God are written about in the Holy Scriptures to describe God and we can trust in these words. The trinity is a belief born out of the experience of ordinary Christians as a real life answer to the question, "Where do we find God?"

The Voice for Love Recommends
photoGaelyn Larrick is a talented artist. She designed the cover and laid out the interior of our first book,The Voice for Love. She and her husband have been personal friends of mine for a number of years. They live just a few miles away from us. Recently, Gaelyn designed our new Voice for Love logo and business cards. (See our new logo at the top of our website.) She was so easy to work with, so professional and reasonably priced that I wanted to pass along her information to you. Click here to take a look at her wonderful portfolio. (It includes only a fraction of the beautiful work he's created. I can say that because it doesn't even include a copy of our book! :-) If you are need a graphic artist, graphic designer, cover/book designer, or simply someone with artistic talent, I highly recommend Gaelyn. She is very conscious and pleasant to work with. I think would enjoy working with her and the end result. You can contact her at iam@waking.com or call her at 1-541-840-0080.
