Fiona: “I feel powerless to help myself. No matter what amazing insights I have and help I receive, I consistently make choices to make sure I do not engage with life in anything like an authentic manner. Life is passing me by and the only growth seems to be in regret, despair and self-loathing. Why do I choose to sabotage my chance at life so completely, and how do I make the move from rudimentary existence to authentic living?”
The Voice for Love: “Holy Precious One, we are so delighted and happy that you have come to us in this way. It is a precious opportunity for us to remind you of your dear value and perfection. You have often forgotten and let slip from your awareness your strength, courage and winsomeness. Let us pause this moment and give thanks for your in-tune heart. Your heart knows all things and loves you constantly and immensely.
“You are afraid of living an authentic life. But you cannot actually live any other way, though you may not be aware of it. You can feel covered in a gray fog of doubt but you cannot actually LIVE without LIFE. Right now, take a moment and breathe. Take three deep breaths and feel the oxygen fill your lungs. Feel the air pass through your nose, feel your chest rise. This is a metaphor for life itself. You inhale and you exhale. Both are needed in this process called life. Exhaling does not mean inhaling is false. Inhaling does not mean exhaling is bogus. Both work together for good to bring air and sustenance to your body.
“Dear One, you are experiencing much fear in your life at this moment. You are afraid to make decisions, for you are not trusting your heart. This is a practice which will allow you to become aware of your ever present heart and its certainty and love: When you awaken, give thanks for your awareness of the day. Give thanks for your sleep or lack thereof. Give thanks for your body, your breathing, your awareness of the dawn. Allow the truth of the moment to wash over you like the sun washes light over the walls of your room.
“You are awake. Hurrah. The day is begun. Today you will allow yourself to ask your own very self, ‘What can I do for you today?’ Then you will sit or lay quietly and listen. An answer of what to do or think or be will float to the surface of your awareness. This thing you will do. When you ask your own very heart this question each morning, do not be afraid of how your heart will answer. On some days it will be a simple desire for a cup of water or bowl of cereal. On other days it will be instructions about work or a friendship. On other days it will be a sweet message of gratitude flowing through you such that you feel like floating and smiling. Fear not the messages of your heart.
“As you continue to practice in this way, you will begin to be aware of just how much you are already living the authentic life you crave. For it is not about the specifics of what you are doing, it is that you are giving thanks and asking your own very heart how you can help, what you can do. It is gratitude that listens and joy that obeys. Long live your precious heart.
“Thank you so much for your willingness to ask this very important question. Thank you for listening and thank you for practicing upon awakening gratitude, asking, and honoring your heart’s request.
“With much love we bid you Amen and Selah.”
